The City of Brentwood has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2013, according to a Dec. 1 press release from the city.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. Gina Jarvis has been the city’s finance director for more than two years.
