A crew was working on installing new large windows Thursday morning at Elmwood restaurant in Maplewood, set to open this fall.
Update: the windows are installed on Friday.
One said, believe it or not, the opening isn’t far off.
The new windows face Sutton Boulevard. A new door will also be installed on the Sutton side. The space, recently a piano bar, was subdivided into two. The other division, facing Manchester Road, is available for lease.
Chris Kelling, most recently general manager at Sardella, and Adam Altnether, a former chef with Niche will run Elmwood.

This place is gonna rock, but I will always imagine the wondrous tales that were never told at Maplewood’s only Alaskan Thermed Dinner Theater.
