A spokesperson for First Watch told 40 South Tuesday that construction has begun on a new First Watch in Brentwood Square.
The 4,430-square-foot space will seat 145 people, and will be the first location in the St. Louis metro area to include a bar/beverage counter serving specialty coffee drinks and alcoholic brunch cocktails. A summer opening is expected.
Brentwood city officials approved the new restaurant in April.
