Join Scott Ohlms, firefighter/paramedic with the Maplewood Fire Department, as he shares important information on how to approach various emergency situations.
After a brief video presentation, firefighter Ohlms will demonstrate the following: scene assessment, wound care/bleeding control, mild burn care, splinting of bones/injuries, and choking. Participants will be allowed to practice these techniques under the guidance of the firefighters in attendance.
