A resident of Brentwood Place Apartments, off Manchester Road near Van Mark Way, says a contested entrance change to the apartment complex there is a result of the planned pedestrian tunnel under Manchester Road for the Brentwood Bound project.
The proposed apartment entrance is being moved off Manchester Road to a small residential street.
According to the resident the mayor said this change, from the known plans, had been communicated, but none of the alderman were aware of it. The apartment owner and neighborhood has concerns with safety, traffic flow and the removal of a playground with no planned replacement.
The board set to make a final decision at the Brentwood Board of Alderman meet Monday.
