Resident tires of speeders, makes sign asking drivers to slow it down

On Sunday a homemade sign was placed in the middle of Bellevue Avenue in Richmond Heights with orange pool noodles sticking up like McDonald’s fries for good measure requesting drivers to slow down.

A resident said motorcycles were racing were racing on the street on Saturday. Richmond Heights Police were told of the sign and asked the owner to remove it from the street. In the afternoon it was on the sidewalk.

  1. Love love love this! Posted speed limit here on Liggett in Crestwood is 20 mph. People routinely go 50, despite few sidewalks and lots of people walking, biking, teaching their kids how to ride tricycles etc IN THE STREET! Please can I get you to make a sign like this for us? We’ve tried to get the Crestwood cops to do something….nada
