Last week the space at the corner of Manchester and Sutton, which most previously housed the Monarch restaurant, was given a thorough cleaning including throwing out most of the old furniture.
Mark Zvibleman, with Sperry Van Ness Infinity Commercial Group said Monday he can’t say why it’s been cleaned.
“Not yet,” he said. “That’s all I can say right now. Sorry, I wish I could tell you more.” He said he’d call with details when he can.
In January the city approved a bar and grill with golf simulators for the 10,000 square space, but that fell through. On the opposite corner, at what was most recently the Blind Tiger, an attempt at a restaurant featuring a rustic Alaska theme also fell through.
