The Mosaic Services 5K Fun Run/Walk, to help Maplewood Richmond Heights families break free from poverty, begins at the MRH High School track Saturday at 9 a.m., with kids races at 10 a.m. Runners and walkers can register at www.mosaicmrh.org.
“The Mission of Mosaic Services is to help MRH families break free from the vicious and debilitating cycle of generational poverty,” according to its website.
Mosaic Services meets its mission by providing school and community services designed to prevent children’s academic failure, protect families from dislocation and disenfranchisement, empower families through education and training, and ultimately sustain enduring success through the development of lasting family partnerships.
