NerdWallet (nerdwallet.com), a San Fransisco-based, self-described “consumer finance site,” has listed Brentwood as the third-best place to start a business in Missouri.
The site used census data on business climate and local economic health to determine the rankings, according to a press release.
According to the site:
“At only 1.5 square miles, Brentwood is the smallest city in the top 10 by population, with just over 8,000 residents. But its daytime population swells to nearly triple that number due to employment at retail outlets and companies. Among the 117 places analyzed, Brentwood has the third-highest percentage of businesses with paid employees.”
