Workers began unpacking crates of precut polished granite for the Ryan Hummert Memorial Monday morning. One said there is approximately 30,000 pounds of it.
They also said they don’t know how long it will take to finish. One said it’s like a jigsaw puzzle, but if a piece doesn’t fit they can’t just trim it with an X-Acto knife.
