Historic rains made Brentwood Park a lake on Saturday — waters breached the levy and flooded the tracks. Christy Wells Lazerus posted photos on Facebook of the park, and industrial park south of Manchester Road Saturday afternoon. By Monday morning city workers were reopening Russel Avenue, but the fields were still flooded.

In Maplewood Hanley Road was closed at Deer Creek Saturday evening as water was up to the bridge. By Monday morning it had receded several feet.

  1. Who shot the video at Deer Creek center, and where were they standing? It is a great shot of what the water looked like. I drove by and stopped and took pictures. There was a strong odor of sewage coming from the creek, yuk!
