Brentwood employees leave for St. Charles, Chesterfield, SSM Health

Gina Jarvis, Justin Wyse and Julie McMillian all left jobs with the city of Brentwood for new positions in the past several months.

Gina Jarvis, Brentwood’s former finance director, was hired for the same position by the city of St. Charles in October 2015, according to the St. Louis Suburban Journals. Her starting salary was $105,000, the city’s human resources manager said by email.

St. Charles Mayor Sally Faith said, “Given her previous professional background at the helm of the finance division in Brentwood, Gina is a detail-oriented CPA with broad experience in all aspects of accounting and financial management.” Read the full post in the St. Louis Suburban Journals.

Brentwood’s new finance director is Karen Shaw. City Administrator Bola Akande introduced her at the board of aldermen meeting on Tuesday. The current salary for the Brentwood finance director is $85,441.15, according to the deputy city clerk.

Justin Wyse, Brentwood’s former director of planning and development, is now a senior planner with the city of Chesterfield. Wyse’s starting salary with the city of Chesterfield was $79,759, according to the Chesterfield city administrator.

Brentwood is advertising on its website for a new director of planning and development/city administrator with a starting salary of $82,952.

Julie McMillian, Brentwood’s former human resources director, is now a benefits coordinator at SSM Health, according to Linkedin.

Alexis Perdomo is now the human resource manager for Brentwood. The current salary is $61,351.79, according to the deputy city clerk.
