Two new shops opened recently on Sutton Boulevard south of Manchester Road: Goldie’s Hair and Wardrobe, on Sutton just north of Marietta Avenue, and Reset Vintage Apparel, south of Marietta.
Corrie Reitz is the owner of Goldie’s Hair and Wardrobe (2712 Sutton), with women’s clothing, jewelry, bags, gifts and paper products. She’s also been a hair dresser for 20 years and plans to do that in the shop a couple days a week. And look for the photo of Corrie and her father, Ken Reitz, third baseman for the Cardinals in the 70s and 80s.
Reset (2718 Sutton) sells vintage sweatshirts, T-shirts, jackets and more. Most of it is from before most of the clientele was born. There’s also a selection of Christmas sweaters. This is Reset’s second Maplewood location; the first is at 2607 Bellevue Avenue.
