Maplewood shop dog, Griffin, at Flying Tiger Motorcycles, died recently, Flying Tigers reported on Facebook. Griffin loved to lie in the sun at the front door so he could greet whoever that walked in.

Flying Tiger said on Facebook, “BIG shout out and Thank you to Chad and Stephanie McFarland @ The Elements of Design Studio for framing this beautiful picture of the best shop dog who ever lived, Griffin. Also, a big Thank you to Brad Sarno for taking this beautiful image of our furry friend, it truly captured his spirit, and to Bobby M. for printing it. We miss you Griffin!!”

Photos of Griffin and area shop dogs, Sassybear and Teddy, are from Facebook.

Bob Scheidt’s dog Pepper (full name, Peppercorn Jack), is the dog referred to in the signs on Scheidt Hardware’s front door that say, “Please don’t pet our dog.” He’s blind, and might give you a nip.
