Three Brentwood football players have received statewide attention.
Placekicker Dylan McGehee was named to the Class 2 all-state second team. Offensive guard John Surgener and running back Jacob Clay made the all-state third team. Surgener and McGehee are seniors; Clay is a sophomore.
Head coach Keith Herring announced the honors at the team banquet on Jan. 9, according to The Brentwood Spirit.
Other Eagles made the all-district team:
- Justice Bratcher, senior defensive back
- Connor Hancock, senior defensive tackle
- Jake Zivic, senior running back
- Kyle Pudlowski, junior linebacker
