At about about 3:20 p.m. on Thursday on a driver “passed out” on Big Bend and drove the sidewalk on the east side of Big Bend, north of Manchester Road, before crashing into a parked car and the fence in front of Saint Louis Closet Co., according to an email from resident Clay Juracsik.
“I had been driving precisely at this spot on northbound Big Bend when the crash occurred, thankful that I hadn’t been some two to three seconds earlier,” he said.
Maplewood Police are in the initial stages of the investigation. They say it appears the driver suffered a medical condition prior to going off the road.

He said the photo he took was about an hour after the accident.
Video please?
The man was not passed out. I witnessed the whole thing happen. A man was speeding and collided with the tan/gold car that was hit. There was a man in the car that went through the fence and caught fire. I have a video of what happened.
How can I see that video?
My thoughts exactly. Eric’s statement doesn’t quite make sense.
I hope you’ll be turning that video in to the police.
Glad your ok Clay!
