Brentwood Fire Chief Ted Jury, set to retire from the city on May 6, will receive no pension from the city of Brentwood, but will from the city of Ladue, where he served for 29 years.
Jury doesn’t meet Brentwood’s eligibility requirement for retirement which is 55 years of age and 10 years of service. He was hired in June, 2011.
His annual salary, as he retires from the Brentwood department, is $131,559.58, according to the city.
Jury receives a gross monthly pension from the city of Ladue of $5,740.19, according to the Ladue assistant to the mayor/city clerk. Jury was promoted to chief in Ladue in 2004.
Jury and his wife Tammy plan to retire in Hawaii.
