The City of Richmond Heights has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association.
The award was for the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2015. This is the 26th consecutive year the City of Richmond Heights has won the award. The certificate of achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
The City’s CAFR met high standards, including a “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate people to read the CAFR, according to the association.
The City of Richmond Heights Finance Department is led by Finance Director Sara J. Fox.
The CAFR can be found on our website at www.richmondheights.org. Under the Departments tab, click on Finance Department, then “Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports” on the left side. It is also included in the Community Update once per year.
