Wednesday, Oct. 30

  • A piece of jewelry was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2700 block of Sutton Avenue between 9 and 11:30 a.m.
  • A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident occurred in the 2100 block of Bellevue Avenue between 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 30 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 31. A parked vehicle was struck.

Thursday, Oct. 31

  • A 58-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Friday, Nov. 1

  • A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting another man in the area of Rannells and Florent avenues. Apparently the two were arguing over a peace disturbance, and it escalated into one of the men hitting the other.
  • Police are investigating a bad check written to a Maplewood Commons business.  The report was filed on Nov. 1, however the check was written on Aug. 14.

Saturday, Nov. 2

  • A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the area of S. Big Bend and Oxford.
  • A 55-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly hitting another female in the parking lot of a Maplewood Commons business.  The dispute was apparently over a parking space.
  • A 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A 24-year-old man was arrested for a drug violation resulting from a traffic stop in the 7400 block of Manchester Road.
  •  A 41-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Monday, Nov. 4

  • Police are investigating a leaving the scene of an accident that occurred at Sarah and Limit avenues. Witnesses saw a truck hit a parked vehicle.
