During the Great Depression, the St. Louis City Plan Commission used a cadre of work relief employees to map the city in detail. Recommendations from that research, and other major public works projects, significantly changed the landscape of St. Louis. Find out how many of today’s St. Louis landmarks have their roots in the Depression-era projects. Presented by Emily Troxell Jaycox, Librarian with the Missouri History Museum.
