The owner of the northwest and southeast corners of Manchester and Big Bend, Dan Lesseg, had aerial photos taken before and after the previous Auto Plaza Ford was demolished and QuikTrip was built. These are the after photos.

In these photos, the new QuikTrip is on the northwest corner of the intersection, CVS Pharmacy is on the southeast corner, White Castle is on the northeast corner and Shaefer Shell is on the southwest.

And the CVS should have them, and have its roof painted white to lessen the A/C bill in the summer.
Views like this make life on the ground seem so much less important. Makes me think of how are all just floating around space together hoping for the best, at the mercy of the universe and it’s cosmic forces. Cool pics.
The roof above the tanks is just screaming out for some solar panels, or I wonder if it couldn’t hold the weight.
