A “verbal altercation” around 1:30 p.m. Thursday between two employees of Gus’s Fried Chicken in Maplewood led to one of them being arrested on a weapons charge, according to Maplewood Police.
Maplewood police were called to Gus’s Fried Chicken when the employees were arguing. When police arrived they found one of the employees had a firearm.
No shots were fired and no one was injured. The employee with the firearm was arrested on weapons violations. Formal charges are pending.
Update: Another source has said the employee brought the firearm into work to sell and was showing it to another employee.
