After receiving permission from Maplewood City Hall, Artists First artists got to work painting the much used two-sided bench at the Yale and Manchester bus stop.
Director Sheila Suderwalla said it is important for Artists First to give back to the community — especially the Maplewood community.
“We hope the artwork will inspire others and contribute to increasing pride in our community,” she said.
