Dennis Keller, owner of The Brentwood Perk (2944 S. Brentwood Boulevard) drive-thru coffee shop, said an employee who didn’t show up for work forced a shut-down.
On Wednesday Keller messaged 40 South News through Facebook that the shop has reopened after a two-week shutdown, and he’s trying to get customers back.
“The employee we had never showed up to work and no one was showing up for interviews, so nobody to work shop during the week,” he said. “If things don’t pick up we are done for, probably sometime in March. We have an employee for now, might hire one more.”
