The Brentwood Debate Team competed at a Parkway West tournament over the weekend; four Eagles came home with honors.
Coach, Robyn Haug shared the results:
- Lindsey Trieu: 1st place in Program Oral Interpretation
- Zach Arrindell: 2nd place in Program Oral Interpretation
- Ben Haug: 4th place in Humorous Interpretation
- Meghan Haug: 5th place Radio Speaking
“There were 28 schools at the tournament and hundreds of competitors, so we were very pleased with our results!” she said.
Bravo! As an Oral Interp major, I am so happy to hear this! I wish the heading of the story said “Speech and Debate Team.” These prizes are clearly not for Debate, but rather for Speech! These winners are justly proud!!!
