The inline rink in Memorial Park is about to reopen. The city had hoped the job would be finished in February, but the cold winter and a delay in receiving the new dasher boards, according to a Lawlor Corp. employee, caused a delay. Tearing out the old asphalt surface began in November last year.
A grand opening ribbon-cutting, with food, games and prizes is set for April 26 at 10 a.m.
