It is the second time since 2006 that Brentwood has received the honor. Brentwood was recognized as an “Exemplary High Performing” school this year.
The honor follows the Brentwood School District earning a score of 100 in the Missouri Department of Education’s new system of rating schools this year.
MRH was named a 2014 Breakthrough School, which is awarded to schools nationwide that excel in the face of challenges that result from high student poverty rates. Only eight other schools nationally were recognized.
