Brentwood’s Skylar Sappington and Maplewood Richmond Heights’ Michael Langston played in the annual Delta Dental Tobacco-Free Nation All-Star Game, played Monday at Busch Stadium.
All players were selected by their coaches to participate. Sappington and Langston were on the same team; the first time MRH and Brentwood have been on the same team for the game, according to Langston.
Way to represent Blue Devils and Eagles!
What a fun game. A once in a lifetime experience for the seniors. It was good to see the many supporters from Richmond Heights, Maplewood and Brentwood cheering our players on. BTW – The “Blue Team” that Michael and Skylar played on, won 12 – 9.
