Brentwood city officials on Monday approved spending an extra $612,814 to renovate the Brentwood Recreation Center, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The project total so far is $7.68 million.
The increase will go to architectural services, construction management, new furniture and a new dasher board around the rink. It means an increase in Brentwood’s fund balance for the project from $2.02 million to $2.56 million.
The board also awarded contracts totaling $3.63 million to 17 bidders on the project.
