Brentwood officials to meet in workshop, closed meetings

The Brentwood Board of Aldermen have two meetings planned in the near future that aren’t their regularly scheduled meetings.

A workshop meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 25 at 7:30 a.m. — that’s a.m. — at the Brentwood Recreation Complex. The one agenda item is to ‘kick off the comprehensive planning process.’ Workshop meetings are open to the public. See the agenda.

A closed meeting is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Three items are on the agenda: a. Personnel, b. Protected Records, c. Operational Guidelines. See the agenda.

At a closed meeting on Aug. 15 the officials approved creating a new position in the city: city clerk.

  1. Did you read the agenda posted about the issues that were discussing. These items cannot be discussed in public sessions. Any pay increase would be it the approved 2016 budget.
