The Brentwood Perk closed its doors and drive through after business on June 30. Dennis Keller Sr. and his wife, Mary, opened the shop in 2014.
In September 2015 they ran a Go Fund Me campaign to raise $7,000 to “stay afloat,” which brought in a little more than $500.

Keller said on Facebook that a shaved ice and funnel cake business is coming to the spot once it’s approved. Also that the new owners have other locations in the south St. Louis area.
