Brentwood police arrest brothers charged in dozens of burglaries

In November, Brentwood police arrested two brothers charged with breaking into businesses in Brentwood and Rock Hill, according to court records, and dozens more in South County, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Joseph Been, 36, and Mark Been, 28, are charged with breaking through storefronts with large rocks and leaving with cash registers. At Time for Dinner (8605 Manchester Road) they left empty-handed. They were also charged with breaking into Joy Luck restaurant in Brentwood.

They’re charged with hits at hair salons, auto parts stores, vitamin supplement stores and more, authorities said. Sometimes they left with $30; the most appears to be around $7000.
