Brentwood police: DWI, theft from car, juveniles held for shoplifting

Tuesday, June 23

  • At 2:15 p.m. police officers responded to a business in the 8300 block of Eager Road for a shoplifting in progress. Three juveniles, ages 14-16, were taken into custody for stealing. They are suspected of  taking clothing.
  • At 6:30 p.m. police were called to a business in the 1700 block of Brentwood Boulevard for a theft report.  A blue 2011 Dodge Caravan was taken from the parking lot.

Friday, June 26

  • At 12:40 a.m. an officer saw a vehicle in the 8400 block of Manchester Road straddling the center line and moving slowly. After stopping the vehicle, the  42-year-old driver was arrested for DWI and several traffic charges.
  • At 8:41 a.m. an officer went to a residence on York Drive for a theft from a vehicle report. The owner of the car said someone entered her unlocked car overnight and took money and a debit card from her wallet.
