Brentwood police searching for shoplifting, assault suspects

Brentwood Police are searching for three suspects in a shoplifting and assault at the Carter’s store in Brentwood Promenade, according to the department’s blog, posted on March 18.

The women entered Carter’s the store on Friday March 4, police say. The women took several items of clothing and left the store. A store employee tried to prevent them from leaving, and was sprayed with a chemical irritant.

The women left the area in a purple or maroon colored car with Illinois license plates.

Update: Brentwood Police has identified one of the suspects, who has been charged. They say they have leads on the other two.
