Brentwood Police stopped three Brentwood residents for speeding Thursday morning, according to Brentwood Police on its Facebook page.

Traffic detail this morning on High School Drive. Our officer stopped three violators for speeding. All three were Brentwood residents. If we are going to make our streets safer for everyone, we need to start with our own individual driving habits. Let’s all be careful out there, and slow down.
There needs to be a review of the corner of White and Eulalie re-parked vehicles. The over-sized vehicles parking on the Eulalie at the White intersection, completely obstructs the view of drivers travelling down White. I am in the “old lady” or “third finger” speed zone. But even following the law, a large vehicle was not able to see me approaching the stop sign. The driver of another large (roll eyes…) had begun to make a right turn because he could not see me approaching the stop sign. That same large parked vehicle was close enough to the intersection to block my view of him. There should be a traffic code that disallows “monster jam” trucks or vans from parking that close to the intersection. We almost had a collision. The ‘beef-mobile’ told me i should slow down—–i was less than the speed limit. He never saw me coming and could not know 1) how slow i was going, or 2) how he would have had to enter Eulalie on the left side of the road to avoid hitting the same vehicle that obstructed his view. There needs to be a yellow curb of 20-40 feet from the intersection so drivers all drivers can have a clear view of the intersection. If drivers cannot see other vehicles, all the more dangerous would this be for pedestrians. love, maureen
Unless some major changes have taken place, Eulalie and White Ave. do not intersect.
