Randall Helm, of Brentwood, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2014 spring semester at the University of Dayton, according to a press release.

To qualify for the dean’s list, an undergraduate degree-seeking student must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA for that semester and must have been enrolled for 12 or more credits that semester.

Helm participated in the 25th annual Brother Joseph W. Stander Symposium this spring, an event that showcases University of Dayton students’ intellectual and artistic accomplishments.

The event, held April 9, consisted of poster sessions and presentations for students to present individual research projects and artwork.

Helm presented work titled “Promoting Historical Literacy in High School Classrooms”. More than 925 students and 193 faculty/staff advisors participated.
