There are no aldermanic meetings in Brentwood or city council meetings in Maplewood this week.
There is a rescheduled Brentwood Ways and Means meeting Monday at 5 p.m. in the Brentwood Council Room. According to the agenda the committee will discuss costs related to transferring dispatching to the East Central Dispatch Center, more on the proposed code of conduct and sidewalk ownership and responsibilities.
The agenda also lists an “emergency purchase” at the Brentwood Community Center, and a “charter performance bond request.”
Saturday morning Brentwood Parks and Recreation and the REI store again team up to clean up city creeks and parks. Volunteers can meet at Memorial Park at 9:30 a.m.
The Brentwood Library Board meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Maplewood’s Sustainability Commission will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m.
In Maplewood the Coffee Crawl is Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are five dollars at participating Maplewood businesses. Watch coffee being roasted at La Cosecha Coffee at 7360 Manchester Road in Maplewood.
