Slusser sent this statement to 40 South News on Tuesday.

“I am excited to be a Ward 2 alderman. I look forward to being of service to the residents, the employees and the City of Brentwood.  I would like to thank Lee Wynn for his 24 years of service to Brentwood and I hope to serve the community as well as he did.  I also would like to thank my wife Stacy and son Owen for supporting me on this endeavor. I can not wait for April and I would like wish the remaining candidates the best of luck.”

  1. Although Lee did a good job, he was difficult for me to contact. It was impossible to contact him by email and his calls went to voicemail and he didn’t reply. Hopefully, this is a step forward.
