Because of the renovation taking place at the Brentwood Recreation Center, Ward 3 residents will vote April 7 at McKnight Crossings Church (2515 South McKnight Road) instead of the recreation center.
An election official said the church has a large parking lot and a gym that large enough to accommodate the polling. It’s on the corner of McKnight and Litzsinger roads. See also: Brentwood mayoral candidate forum set
It’s possible for residents with a disability or aged 60 years and older to take the city’s Magic Bus to the polling place from the Rec Center. To schedule a pick-up time, please call (314) 581-4842.
Update, April 7: It’s been reported that not all Ward 3 voter are going to McKnight Crossings Church, some are directed to City Hall.
The recreation center, including the ice rink, will close April 1, with an expected reopening on September 1, which could change due to weather or construction schedules.
