Monday, June 23

  • Police arrested a 58-year-old woman for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 45-year-old man for a drug violation resulting from a traffic stop conducted near Maplewood Commons Drive and W. Bruno.
  • Police arrested a 31-year-old woman for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 36-year-old man for stealing merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business. Police will be seeking felony charges due to the suspect’s prior theft history.

Tuesday, June 24

  • Police arrested a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old man for assault and disorderly conduct at a business in the 7200 block of Manchester.  The subjects became upset when told by an employee at the business their property could not be repaired. A dispute followed which led to the employee escorting the male subjects from the business. The subjects then assaulted the employee. The employee suffered minor injuries as a result of the assault.
  • Police arrested a 31-year old man and a 30-year-old woman for stealing $266 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Wednesday, June 25

  • Police arrested a 35-year-old man for stealing $110 in merchandise from a business in the 7300 block of Manchester.
  • A cellular phone was reported stolen from a business in the 2100 block of S. Big Bend.
  • Police arrested a 20-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.

Thursday, June 26

  • Detectives arrested a 32-year-old man for child abuse which occurred in the 3200 block of Walter.  The incident occurred sometime between June 13 and June 22. The suspect was formally charged on June 27 with a bond set at $20,000.
  • A 1999 Toyota was stolen from the 3300 block of Cambridge. The victim’s vehicle was recovered in Brooklyn, IL.  Police have identified several persons of interest relative to the stolen vehicle and car break-ins and are attempting to locate them at this time.
  • Police arrested a 20-year-old man for stealing over $500 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • A vehicle was broken into in the 7400 block of Lohmeyer Avenue. Cash and a gift card was stolen from the unlocked vehicle.

Friday, June 27

  • Police arrested a 37-year-old woman for shoplifting $108 in merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old man for shoplifting merchandise from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a 22-year-old man for committing a burglary in the 2100 block of Laclede Station Road.  The suspect forced entry into the residence and stole more than $900 in property. Police located the suspect with the stolen property 2600 block of S. Hanley. Charges are pending through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
  • Police arrested a 19-year-old man for shoplifting from a Maplewood Commons business.
  • Police arrested a  37-year-old man for assaulting his girlfriend in the 7200 block of Sarah.

Saturday, June 28

  • Police arrested a 22-year-old man for theft of a bicycle in the 7300 block of Maple Avenue.
  • A residential burglary was reported in the 2600 block of Oakview Terrace. Electronics were stolen from the residence. Police have identified a person of interest.
  • Police responded to the 7200 block of Zephyr for a reported disturbance. Two family members had been arguing. No arrests were made or charges filed.

Sunday, June 29

  • In the early morning hours, police responded to the 7500 block of Woodland for a loud party, at which time the homeowner was warned by police. A second call was received at the same residence an hour and a half later. The homeowner was issued a summons for disturbing the peace.
  • Police arrested a 24-year-old man for a drug violation in the area of Bruno and Alameda.
