Maplewood Fire Chief Terry Merrell, with help from Mayor Barry Greenberg, members of the Mid County Chamber of Commerce and Maplewood firefighters cut the ribbon for Maplewood’s new firehouse on Saturday.

Maplewood voters passed Proposition F in 2014 to fund the new facility. The firehouse it replaced, housed at Maplewood City Hall, was built in 1962.

  1. Took the tour Saturday and was thoroughly impressed by what i saw. Had a good time talking with several of the staff there and hearing that they really needed a place all their own.
