Richmond Heights Plan and Zoning Commission has approved a conditional use permit for Chipotle Mexican Grill to be located at 1500 S. Hanley Road in the Hadley Township Redevelopment area.
Project architect Detlef Diercks of Dungan Design Group, LLC in Overland Park, KS, was on hand for the meeting.
“The project is scheduled to break ground in June and then we have a 10 week build time,” Dierks said.
Chipotle will have the capacity to seat 54 patrons inside and 30 diners outside on a patio area and will be one of two restaurants located in the building to be built as part of the new construction in the Hadley Township Redevelopment Area. In April, the commission gave architect H.C. Klover the green light to move forward with a proposed Panda Express.
Plan and Zoning Commission member James Renz is pleased with the progress of the entire redevelopment area.
“We are excited about the project and think it will be a good addition to the area,” Renz said.
Did this project get cancelled? Seems like the 10 weeks have passed.
If this isn’t breaking ground until June; then what is the building that is already partially constructed in what appears to be the same area? Pre-Fabricated walls are up and it appears to be something which will have parking behind the building vs between the building and the street…
