The city of Brentwood will lose an administrative employee on September 30.
Brentwood Deputy City Clerk Octavia Pittman gave her two weeks notice to the city on Sept. 16, she said in her office on Friday. She said her last day with the city of Brentwood is Sept. 30. She was hired by the city in 2012.
Pittman said she has no particular reason for leaving — just taking some time off.
Brentwood lost its information technology director, Robin Zlatic, in August. She went to Enterprise Holdings. The city is still advertising for the position.
Maureen, my thoughts are much better than your ASSumptions! Octavia came with Bola, just like Robin and a few others. Therefore she appeared to be part of the “chosen ones”.
I know she did her job, with little or no recognition, kept her head low and put out many fires before they became explosions.
I, too, wish her the best. In the future please don’t judge my thoughts. They are none of your smart## business!
in the past we always blamed someone on the board when an employee left Brentwood. Who are we blaming this resignation on now?
WOW! I thought she was one of the “chosen” ones! The chickens must really be coming home to roost!
Hey–your problem started when you “thought”. Best regards and prayers for Octavia. love, maureen
