Coffee roaster Stringbean Coffee Company is planning to move from Fenton to Brentwood’s industrial park, according to the Riverfront Times. Owner Peter Cohen expects to begin operations in Brentwood in October. He told the RFT the new space is four times as big as their current location.
The roastery has become a staple in the local coffee community, recognized for its commitment to ethically and sustainably sourced beans, the RFT says. It was the RFT’s pick for the area’s “Best Coffee” in its 2015 Best of St. Louis issue. Cohen founded Stringbean in 2011.
The new space, at 858 Hanley Industrial Court, will allow Stringbean to be more centrally located to their markets and allow for coffee-related events.

Yea Pete! We have been HUGE fans of this coffee for years! Great news – and maybe we can buy really fresh roasted beans from your new space? 🙂
