According to the city of Maplewood, Ameren Missouri contractor, 3 Degrees, is planning to have three people in Maplewood from May 23 to May 26, and possibly again in June, to do Pure Power program courtesy knocks. Pure Power allows customers to sign up to support Midwestern wind power through Ameren Missouri.
In advance of the courtesy knocks, 500 customers on the route will be receiving a postcard with the information about the initiative. All of the required permits and background checks for the city have been completed. The employees will be wearing a Pure Power shirt and an Ameren/3 Degrees photo ID badge. They will also have a copy of the permit from Maplewood.
Courtesy knocks will be conducted between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The postcard includes a number to call for questions, or if they prefer not to be visited and receive additional information.
With all of the scams in the news recently, the city wanted to let residents know that it is truly an Ameren Missouri initiative. For more information, customers can call 314-391-2390, or visit https://www.ameren.com/
