Join us to celebrate World Space Week and learn more about exoplanets (planets outside our Solar System) and the search for life beyond our Solar System.

Did you know that we’ve discovered 2,950 planets orbiting other stars? Of those, 2,491 were discovered because of the Kepler Space Telescope, and 30 are in just the right place to harbor life.

Come and learn more about these “alien worlds” and celebrate World Space Week. Space-y treats will be served. This event is family-friendly with the information aimed at adults and students. Everyone will enjoy thinking about the alien life forms that might exist on these far away planets.

This presentation is being co-hosted by St. Louis Space Frontier, a chapter of National Space Society. Christine Nobbe, long-time Maplewood resident, educator, and Space enthusiast, will be our presenter.
