A lot has been said regarding the Maplewood of today. That is a great thing—it’s a great community.
But Maplewood has a glorious history, as well: the first meeting place to decide where the county headquarters should be, home to two great families with ties to St. Louis’ elite, marvelous architecture, homes built with leftover materials from the 1904 World’s Fair— the list could go on and on.
