    From the first Germans to follow Gottfried Duden, and the German Abolitionist Muench family to the traditions and customs that enrich our communities today, Missouri’s largest ethnic group celebrates its history. Hear their stories.

    Dorris Keeven-Franke is the Executive Director of the Missouri Germans Consortium, and editor of Der Anzeiger. Missouri Germans partners with others on projects such as Utopia – Revisiting a German State in America and the new Missouri Humanities Council German Heritage Corridor, working to preserve and enrich Missouri’s great German heritage.
