Aviram Rozin and his wife left their native Israel in 2003 and started planting trees on 70 acres of land in southeast India. The work restores native habitat, but also helps raise the living standards of the local villagers. Since then their non-profit, Sadhana Forest, has expanded into Kenya and Haiti. Come hear Aviram share the inspiring story of the establishment and growth of an ecological and humanitarian effort that is improving living conditions for some of the world’s poorest people.
More information on Sadhana Forest can be found at its website. Full details on this free event can be found at here.
