The Taste of Maplewood Street Festival has gained notoriety as an ultimate celebration of all things Maplewood. In its seventh year now, the May 16th street party will bring together foodies, shoppers and music lovers to enjoy the bites, sights and sounds of a city known for everything hip and happening!
“The Best of the Taste of Maplewood” food and drink contest, a feature added in recent years, promises to be spicier than ever. Vendors will once again battle for bragging rights to have their vittles and libations hailed the “Best Of” by celebrity judges, including Catherine Neville of Feast Magazine, George Mahe of St. Louis Magazine, and Lern from KSHE95. Categories include Best Sweet Tooth, Best Unexpected Flavor, Best Cocktail and Best Overall Taste of Maplewood.
Visitors will enjoy live entertainment on two stages, including performances by Spin the Bottle, Old Salt Union, St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase produced by the Fox Performing Arts Foundation, Focal Point Acoustic Jam, and many more!
Amber Sky Photography, Boogaloo, Kakao Chocolate, Larder & Cupboard, Mystic Valley, Pie Oh My, Schlafly Beer, The Crow’s Nest, The Post Sports Bar & Grill, Tiny Little Monster, The Cue, Strange Donuts, Traveling Tea,Vom Fass, The Wood, and Water Street are some of the businesses that will be represented.
Admission is free. The event is presented by the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce, with support from Citizens National Bank, the City of Maplewood, the City of Maplewood Special Business District and Sunnen Products Company.
